Audience Response Systems
As a potential user of audience response voting systems, you need to be certain about your desired use of them to reduce the amount of options currently available to you. For example, do you need a LCD display on the handheld voting clicker, do you need advanced assessment software, wireless or wired systems, will a simple keypad suffice, or do you need more advanced buttons, the academic level of pupils (primary / secondary + above)
Available Voting Response Systems
- Turningpoint - All systems available in bundles of 24/30/40:
- XR Voting System - multi-lcd screen, large lcd screen, wireless use, and 12 buttons + control buttons allowing numerical and alphanumeric text entry. Top of the range device.
- Responseware - an audience response system for iPhones and iTouch's. The software is bought via the Apple app store, and used with software supplied by Turningpoint.
- Turningpoint RF - No lcd screen, 60m range, 12 buttons, simple clicker handset. Turningpoint's most popular device.
- Turningpoint IR - Ideal for small classes and groups. Economic handset using infrared technology so needs clicker to receciver 'sight'. Great use of battery power, only in use when a button is pressed.
- IML Systems - An audience response system aimed squarely for the professional board room. Functionality includes microphone, keypad, buzzer, smart cards, audio and text two-way communication between presenter and audience member. IML sell under a "text, vote, talk" package where individual functionality must be purchased.
- Keepad - A rebranding of Turningpoint. Selling the popular Turningpoint IR system - see above.
